A Full User Profile Experience Is Now Live in Flo Performance Management

Flo moves at a pace that reflects how seriously we take continuous improvement, and the new User Profile in Flo Performance Management is one of the most substantial additions we have made to the product in recent memory. It replaces the previous slideout panel with a full-page experience and brings several new capabilities along with it.

The challenge

Talent teams need complete, accessible information about the people they support. Managing generic systems that don't provide the data they need to track and ad hoc scratch pads for notes means that it is difficult to have a complete view of law firm talent. For admins managing documents, notes, and custom data points, there was no single place to see it all.

What we launched

The user list slideout has been replaced with a dedicated, full-page profile. The new profile brings together several capabilities that were not available before:

  • Documents: Store and access relevant files directly on a person's profile, including historical reviews.
  • Notes: Add context, observations, or follow-ups in a structured way that lives with the profile. Capture hallway partner conversations and meaningful info in one location.
  • Custom fields: Capture the information that matters to your team, beyond what standard fields provide. 

The full profile is visible to admins only, keeping sensitive information appropriately controlled while giving the people who need that depth of context a much richer view.

Why it matters

For Professional Development and HR teams, having documents, notes, and custom fields consolidated in one profile page means less time spent hunting across different parts of the system for information about an attorney or business professional. Everything relevant to a person is in one place, organized and easy to act on.

The custom fields capability is particularly meaningful for teams that track information specific to their firm's processes. Rather than maintaining that data outside the platform, it can now live where it belongs, alongside the rest of a person's record.

The User Profile has been a significant build, and we are proud of where it landed. This is the kind of feature that tends to grow over time as teams start using it and tell us what else they want to see. We are already listening, so keep the feedback coming.
