# Form Builder with Live Preview and Smarter Question Management

Steady, concrete improvement is how Flo gets better, and nowhere is that more visible than in the tools admins rely on to set up review cycles. The Form Builder in Flo Performance Management has been rebuilt from the ground up, and the result is a noticeably different experience for anyone who creates or edits evaluation forms.
## **The challenge**
Building a form previously meant: adding questions one at a time from a dropdown, and opening a separate browser tab to preview what reviewers would actually see. If a question didn't exist yet, you had to leave the form entirely, create it on the Questions tab, and come back to find your place. Professional Development teams requested a more robust and intuitive experience, particularly when setting up forms for large review cycles.
## **What we launched**
The Form Builder now opens as a full page. Questions sit on the left; a live preview updates on the right as you work, showing exactly what reviewers will see. There is no separate preview tab to manage.
The question-adding experience has also changed significantly. The new "Add Questions" picker supports search across the full question bank, multi-select so you can add several questions at once, and visible type and sensitivity labels on each question card. If a question doesn't exist yet, you can create it from inside the builder without losing your current selections.
Here is a summary of what changed across the main areas of the builder:
- **Creating a form:** A short dialog collects the name and description, then you go directly to the full-page builder.
- **Previewing:** A live preview sits beside your questions and updates as you edit, replacing the old separate browser tab.
- **Adding questions:** A picker with search, multi-select, and type and sensitivity labels replaces the old one-at-a-time dropdown.
- **Creating a new question:** Now available from inside the builder, without navigating away.
- **Form actions:** Edit, Duplicate, and Delete are available from a three-dot menu inside the builder, in addition to the form card. "Clone" is now called "Duplicate" consistently across Flo Performance Management.

A few details worth knowing:
- Use Save Form for all changes.
- Duplicate copies the last saved version of the form and opens it in a new tab. The copy uses the latest version of each question.
- Questions already on the form appear as checked and cannot be added again. Questions added together appear in the order you selected them.
## **Why it matters**
Professional Development teams often manage multiple review cycles with distinct forms for different attorney levels, practice groups, or review types. A builder that requires tab-switching and one-at-a-time question management adds time to a task that should be straightforward.
The new builder keeps the whole task in one place: search the question bank, select what you need, see the result immediately in the preview, and save. The foundation establishes future enhancements coming soon.
