Admins Can Now Add Required Student Documents After Bidding Closes
- 2 mins
Official transcripts have a timing problem. Schools often receive them after bidding has closed, well into the interview program, which left admins stuck managing placeholder uploads, chasing students, and manually resaving documents across every employer job in the system. We kept hearing this, and we shipped a fix. Flo is the fastest shipping company in the legal talent industry, and this one is a good example of why that matters when a live program is running and the clock is ticking.
The problem
hen a school needed to add a new required document after the bid period closed in Flo's Interview Management, there was no clean path. Admins had to open every individual employer job and resave the document requirements manually. Document status did not update automatically, so students had no clear signal that something new was required. Employers saw inconsistent information depending on when they looked.
For schools waiting on official transcripts or post-match cover letters, this was more than an inconvenience. It was a blocker. The manual overhead made it impractical to add late-stage document requirements at all, which meant some schools were effectively locked out of workflows they needed.
What we shipped
Law school admins can now add or update required student supporting documents at any point during an interview program, including after student bids have been submitted. The change takes effect immediately across the entire event with a single save.
Why it matters
This removes a genuine blocker. Schools that receive official transcripts late in the cycle can now add them as a required document without any placeholder management, without manual cleanup, and without risk of missing files. The document requirement propagates everywhere automatically, and students know exactly what they need to do.
Admins no longer have to choose between running a clean program and accommodating late-stage requirements. Both are now possible at the same time.
- Admins get a streamlined process with clear indicators in the student bids table.
- Employers see updated document status without any action on their part.
- Students get clear, timely prompts so nothing falls through the cracks before an interview.
This capability came directly from working through real program constraints with recruiting teams, and it gets more useful the more you push on the edges. If you are running a program with unusual document timing or have other post-bid requirements we have not addressed yet, keep telling us what is slowing you down.
