Full Education History Now Included in the HRIS API

Flo moves quickly, and that pace shows up in the details. One of the ways we keep improving Flo Applicant Tracking is by closing the gaps between what recruiting teams collect and what their connected systems can actually use. This update is a good example of that.

The challenge

Flo Applicant Tracking already captured education history from job applications, but that data was not available through the HRIS API. For firms syncing candidate information into their HR systems, education records had to be transferred or managed separately.

What we launched

Education history from job applications is now included in the HRIS API. Every entry submitted by a candidate is passed through and automatically ordered from most recent to oldest based on graduation year or end date.

This ensures the most relevant credential appears first, with no manual sorting required.

Why it matters

Firms integrating Flo with an HRIS can now carry candidate education data into their downstream systems alongside the rest of the application record. Recruiting teams get a more complete view of each candidate while spending less time reconciling information across systems.

This is especially useful in lateral and experienced attorney hiring, where educational background can be an important part of candidate evaluation. With education history structured and sorted through the API, that information is immediately usable wherever it surfaces.

Is there other application data you would like to access through the API? Let us know what would be most useful for your workflows.
