Flo Applicant Tracking Now Supports Email Attachments

Flo moves fast, and this update is a good example of why that matters. Recruiting teams send a lot of email through Flo Applicant Tracking, and now those emails can carry the documents that go with them. Attachments are live across the platform.

The challenge

We heard from recruiting teams that pipeline communications often require more than just a message. Sending an offer letter, a background check form, or a summary document meant stepping outside Flo to attach files through a separate email client, then manually logging back in to track what happened next. The workflow asked for more steps than it should.

What we launched

Attachments are now supported across the job-related email workflows in Flo Applicant Tracking. Recruiting teams can attach files directly when sending any of the following:

  • Status update emails triggered from the candidate table (the status pill)
  • Bulk emails sent from the Candidates List
  • Bulk status updates from the Job Details page
  • Status update emails from the candidate slide-out
  • Status update emails from an application via a candidate profile
  • Status update emails from a job card on the candidate profile
  • The Add Candidate workflow (step 3)
  • One-off emails to a candidate from the slide-out
  • One-off emails to an agency from the slide-out
  • Adding a candidate to a job directly from their profile

The following file types are accepted: images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png), PDFs (.pdf), spreadsheets (.csv, .xls, .xlsx), Word and text documents (.doc, .docx, .txt), and presentations (.ppt, .pptx). Each individual file is limited to 7.5MB, and a single email can carry up to 20MB in total attachments.

Why it matters

The practical difference here is most obvious at offer stage. Recruiting teams can now attach an offer letter directly to the status-update email that moves a candidate forward in the pipeline, keeping the communication and the document together in a single action. The same applies to any point in the process where a document needs to travel alongside a message: interview prep materials, background check instructions, or agency-facing summaries.

Because attachments are available across both individual and bulk workflows, teams working high-volume searches can send documents to multiple candidates at once without leaving Flo or switching to another tool.

This one came from real workflow friction you told us about, and we are glad to have it out. If there are other spots in the platform where you wish attachments were available, let us know. This keeps getting better with your input.
