# Flo Forward Users Can Now Update Their Primary Email Address

Flo moves quickly, and that means even the details that affect day-to-day account management get attention. The latest update to Flo Forward gives attorneys and law students the ability to change their primary email address directly, without any manual intervention required.
## **The challenge**
When a Flo Forward user's primary email address needed to change, such as after switching firms or graduating and losing access to a school address, the update had to be handled manually behind the scenes.
## **What we launched**
Flo Forward users can now update their primary email address directly from their account settings. The change takes effect immediately, with no request, no wait, and no manual entry by anyone on the back end.
## **Why it matters**
For attorneys and law students, email addresses change more often than you might expect: a clerkship ends, a firm transition happens, or a law school address expires. Having direct control over that detail means their Flo Forward profile stays current and accessible without depending on anyone else to make it happen.
For career services teams and recruiting teams who rely on Flo Forward data being accurate, this reduces the lag between when a contact changes and when the platform reflects it.
