# Job Details Variables Are Now Available in Job Email Templates

Flo moves quickly, and sometimes the most useful updates are the small ones. This improvement to Flo Applicant Tracking makes email templates more flexible, helping recruiting teams save time and keep candidate communications accurate.
## **The challenge**
Emails sent through Flo Applicant Tracking could already be customized with templates, but teams still had to manually add certain job-specific details.
For roles tied to a particular office, department, or position, that often meant creating multiple versions of the same template or filling in those details by hand. This was especially important at the offer stage, where candidate communication needs to match the specifics of the role.
## **What we launched**
Job email templates in Flo Applicant Tracking now support three additional variables: Office, Position, and Department.
Once added to a template, these fields automatically pull from the job record, so the right details appear in each email without recruiters having to enter them manually.
The new variables are available in:
- Settings under Pipeline Emails for firm-wide templates
- Pipeline Emails at the job level during job setup
- Job status change emails.png?width=1380&height=1632&name=image%20(25).png)
## **Why it matters**
For recruiting teams managing multiple offices, departments, or types of roles, this means fewer templates to maintain and less manual work.
An offer email, for example, can now automatically include the correct office, department, and position based on the job. Admins can configure templates at the firm level, make changes for individual jobs when needed, and know candidate emails will pull in the right details.
