# Students Now Receive a Confirmation Email When Their Bids Are Submitted

One of the things Flo does well is listen for the small moments of uncertainty in a workflow and close them. This update is a good example: students who submit their interview bids now immediately receive a confirmation email, so there's no question about whether it went through.
## **The challenge**
Career services teams told us that after students submitted their bid rankings, there was no automated confirmation on the student side. That left some students unsure whether their submission had registered, particularly when the bidding window was closing and stakes felt high.
## **What we launched**
Students now automatically receive a confirmation email after a successful bid submission.
## **Why it matters**
For students, submitting interview bids is a high-stakes moment in their recruiting cycle. A confirmation email is a small thing, but it matters: it tells students clearly that their list was received, and it reduces the follow-up questions career services teams field around bid submission. Both groups benefit from that clarity.
