A Unified User List Across Pipeline Building, Applicant Tracking, and Performance Management

Managing user access across two processes should not mean maintaining two separate lists. Flo recognizes challenges like these and solves them faster than anyone in the legal talent industry, and this release is a good example of why: we identified a real administrative headache, and we fixed it cleanly. The User List is now unified across recruitment and performance solutions, giving admins a single, consistent experience and a single source of truth.

The opportunity

Admins managing both recruiting and performance reviews can now work from one unified place, with a consistent interface and predictable behavior throughout. Adding someone in one product carries straight over to the other, so there's no duplicate work when a new attorney joins, a role changes, or someone needs to be removed.

This release also brings a more thoughtful approach to access management. Updates are now cleanly scoped to the product you're working in, giving admins confidence that routine changes do exactly what they expect and nothing more.

What we launched

The User List is now the same page in both the recruiting platform and Performance Management. User records exist at the org level, so any change made in one product reflects automatically in the other. There's no need to create a user twice or keep two lists in sync manually.

Both products now share the full set of User List capabilities:

  • Bulk CSV upload for creating new users
  • Bulk CSV update for editing existing users (more on this below)
  • CSV export of the full user list
  • Dropdown column filters to narrow by office, department, practice area, and other attributes
  • Column management for showing, hiding, and reordering columns
  • Per-user remove action via a 3-dot menu, replacing the old bulk remove flow
  • Dynamic CSV template generation so the upload template reflects your org's actual fields and values

Removing a user now only removes their access to the product you're working in. Removing someone from the recruiting platform leaves their Performance Management access intact, and vice versa. Product access is managed per user, and adding someone to your org gives you full control over which products they can reach.

Why it matters

For Professional Development and HR teams that run both the applicant tracking system and Performance Management, this streamlines daily administration into a single, dependable workflow. You can trust that the list in one product reflects what's in the other. Changes propagate automatically, and routine bulk updates do exactly what you intend.

The legacy recruiting members page remains accessible as a fallback while the transition completes, and will be retired in a future release. We'll communicate the timeline well in advance of that change.

This is the kind of change that makes daily administration quieter, which is exactly the point. If there are other places in your workflow where managing users across products could be smoother, keep telling us. The more specific the detail, the faster we can deliver.
