Flo moves quickly, and one of the things that drives that pace is paying close attention to where our clients spend unnecessary time. Review season puts real pressure on Professional Development and HR teams, and we are always looking for ways to make that work faster and more focused. The latest addition to Flo Performance Management reflects exactly that.
When an admin or consensus reviewer sits down to synthesize evaluations for a single attorney, the core task is reading across multiple responses, finding the patterns, and forming a coherent picture. That synthesis is valuable work, but the reading and collating that precede it are time-intensive, especially when a reviewee has received feedback from many evaluators across different competencies.
Flo Performance Management now includes an AI Summary feature, available directly from the reviewee drawer. Admins, and consensus reviewers when that access is enabled, can pull up an automatically generated recap of a reviewee's evaluations without leaving the page they are already on.
The summary does not just offer a top-line narrative. It surfaces supporting quotes from the underlying evaluations, so every finding is grounded in what evaluators actually wrote. Admins can also choose the format that works best for their workflow: a paragraph-style narrative for a flowing read, or bullet points for faster scanning.
Synthesis across many evaluations is one of the most time-consuming parts of a review cycle. Having a structured, quote-backed summary available on demand lets admins and consensus reviewers spend more of their time on judgment and calibration, and less on manually collating feedback.
The format toggle matters too. Different reviewers work differently. Some want to read a flowing narrative before forming a view; others want to scan key points quickly. Being able to switch between the two means the tool fits the person, not the other way around.
This is one of the more substantive additions we have made to the review workflow in Flo Performance Management, and we are genuinely curious how your team puts it to use. Tell us what you would like to see next.
