One of the things Flo is known for is turning feedback from recruiting teams into meaningful product improvements quickly. The launch of Document Packets in Flo Applicant Tracking and Flo Pipeline Building is a good example: a significant time-saver for a workflow recruiting teams handle constantly.
Preparing candidate materials for attorney reviewers has traditionally required a lot of manual work. Recruiting teams had to gather documents file by file, organize and label them for clarity, and combine everything into something presentable before sending it to firm leadership.
As the number of candidates grew, so did the time required to prepare those materials. And because packets were assembled manually, the final format could vary depending on who put them together.
Recruiting teams can now create a Document Packet directly from the Candidate List or Job Details page in Flo Applicant Tracking and Flo Pipeline Building.
Each packet can include:
From the Candidate List, admins select the candidates they want to include, and Flo builds the packet around that group. The available document list includes documents that have been created for the organization.
From the Job Details page, admins can create a packet without leaving the context of a specific job. The available documents are automatically scoped to those configured for that job application, removing the need to filter them manually.
Once the packet is ready, admins can send it directly to members of the firm from within Flo. Recipients receive access through the email that is sent. Unlike Candidate Review, the packet cannot be accessed again through a persistent link after the email is sent, but admins can regenerate a packet at any time if they need to resend or update it.
We also made a few improvements to the Candidate List as part of this release. Admins can now select candidates across multiple pages without losing their selections as they navigate. Application question filters have also been added, giving teams more control over the group of candidates they want to work with.
Admins spend significant time preparing candidate materials for attorneys involved in hiring decisions. Document Packets turn that manual process into a few clicks, giving recruiting teams a faster way to distribute clean, consistently formatted candidate materials without leaving Flo or combining files by hand.
The two entry points also support the different ways teams already work. When admins are working from a selected group across their broader candidate pipeline, they can create a packet from the Candidate List. When they are focused on a specific role, they can build one directly from the Job Details page without leaving that workflow.
For attorneys reviewing candidates, the experience is simpler too. Instead of receiving a collection of individual files, they receive one organized packet that presents candidate materials in a consistent format.
Document Packets were built around feedback from recruiting teams about a workflow they handle every day. As you start using them, let us know what you would like to see refined or added next.
