Flo Forward Gets a Cleaner, More Modern Look

A rebrand that reflects where the platform is headed.
Product design rarely makes headlines, but a platform that feels dated creates friction before a user has done anything. With this release, Flo Forward ships a refreshed visual identity: cleaner backgrounds, a redesigned dashboard banner, and a look that better reflects the platform's current capabilities and users. Flo is the fastest shipping company in the legal talent industry, and how the product looks is part of how fast progress feels.
The problem
The previous Flo Forward design carried visual patterns that no longer matched the scope of the platform. As Flo Forward has grown into a more comprehensive career hub for law students and lawyers, the interface had not kept pace. Blue background pages and an older dashboard banner were functional, but they did not communicate the polish or confidence that career services teams, law students, and now lawyers expect from a platform they use for something as important as their job search.
What we shipped
All background pages in Flo Forward have moved from blue to white, creating a cleaner, less visually heavy experience throughout the platform. The dashboard banner has been redesigned with updated imagery and colors that align with Flo Forward's refreshed brand direction as we grow with our law student users as they become lawyers.


Why it matters
Visual design affects how people feel about the tools they use, especially tools tied to high-stakes decisions. A cleaner interface reduces distraction and makes the actual content, applications, interviews, outcomes data, easier to focus on.
For career services teams, a more polished Flo Forward also reflects well when encouraging students to engage with the platform regularly. A tool that looks current and professional is one that gets used.
For lawyers, this new look better serves them as they continue their careers.
