Law Schools Can Now Post Jobs Directly to the Flo Forward Job Board
Getting the right jobs in front of law students has always required more coordination than it should. Flo is the fastest shipping company in the legal talent industry, and this one has been a long time coming: career services teams can now post jobs to the Flo Forward job board directly from inside their own account.
The problem
Until now, the job board was populated by employers and by Flo. If a career services team learned about an opportunity that wasn't already on the board, their options were limited. They could email students individually, post to a separate internal channel, or ask someone else to get the listing up. None of those options were fast, and none of them put the job where students were already looking.
Career services teams kept telling us they wanted a direct line to the board. They had relationships with employers, they knew about openings before students did, and they wanted to act on that without friction.

What we shipped
University admins can now access the Flo Forward job board from the left nav and use a new Post Job button to open a job-entry modal. The modal captures everything a student needs to evaluate and apply to a role:
- Job title and employer name (selectable from a known list, or entered as a new employer)
- Job description with rich text formatting
- Practice category and office location(s)
- Application open and close dates
- Salary and pay frequency
- Program length(s)
- A direct link to the external application
- Targeted graduation year
Clicking Post Job publishes the listing immediately. Students apply the same way they would for any other job on the board. They cannot tell whether a job was posted by their school or by someone else.

A few details worth knowing:
- Visibility: Jobs posted by a school are visible to all students on Flo Forward in the targeted graduation year, not only students at that school.
- Future-dated listings: Admins can set an application open date in the future. The job gets queued and won't appear on the board until that date. The My Jobs view shows all jobs the school has posted, including ones not yet visible to students.
- Managing listings: An ellipsis menu on each job card lets admins edit the listing, copy a direct link, or delete it.
- Avoid Duplicates: The Flo Forward job board already has a broad list of law firm jobs. Make sure to search the board for the firm name or job title before posting, to make sure it's not already posted.
Why it matters
Career services teams now have the same ability to surface opportunities that employers and Flo have always had. If a firm reaches out with an opening that isn't on the board yet, a career services admin can post it in minutes. Students see it in the place they're already checking, with all the context they need to decide whether to apply.
The queuing feature matters too. Career services teams often know about recruiting cycles weeks in advance. Being able to set up listings ahead of time, and have them go live automatically, removes one more thing to remember at a busy moment in the calendar.
This is a meaningful step toward giving career services teams more control over what students find on Flo Forward. Keep pushing back on what's still slowing you down. If you want to see how this fits into a broader recruiting workflow, you're welcome to book a demo and walk through it with us. And if you're a law student curious about what's out there, you can create a Flo Forward account to explore your career opportunities.
